Scouts
The Scout Troop is the power house of any Unit and so it is with the 9th Cork. The first Troop was formed in 1931. There were a number of breaks in its existance, but the present Troop has been functioning without a break since 1975. During that time numbers rose to almost 60 sixty scouts at one time and the troop was split into two Troops 9th and 76th Cork. They were rejoined after some years until 1999 when again the Troop was split along Senior and Junior lines. This then evolved into a scout troop and a venturer troop
Our leaders this year are Tim, Brendan, Donal and Aoife.
